Website & Practice Notice

Clear information about what this website is — and what it is not.

The Coping Collective brings together clinical, educational, consultative, training, and informational work by Adrian L. Varnadore. Adrian earned a Master of Education in Counseling and holds an Arkansas Licensed Professional Counselor license (P2403012). The professional capacity, governing terms, and relationship for a service depend on the nature and scope of that service and are identified before work begins.

Professional Relationship

Visiting the website is not the same as beginning therapy.

Browsing this website, sending an email, or booking a Discovery Consultation does not by itself create a therapist-client relationship or any other ongoing professional relationship. Depending on the service, a later professional relationship may be clinical, educational, consultative, training-based, or another clearly defined form of engagement. That relationship begins only after the service is accepted, the professional capacity and terms are identified, and any required agreement, consent, or intake documents are completed.

A Discovery Consultation is an orientation conversation. It is not psychotherapy, does not establish ongoing treatment, and does not guarantee that a particular service will be appropriate or available.

Website content is educational and general. It is not individualized diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for care from a professional who has evaluated your specific situation.

Privacy & Communications

Share only what is needed to begin the conversation.

This website does not currently use an on-site contact form. Contact options route you to ordinary email, a Google Calendar booking page, or an external therapist profile. Internet and email communications can have privacy and security limitations, so an initial message should stay brief.

Please do not send a detailed trauma history, full medical or mental-health record, Social Security number, payment-card information, or other highly sensitive information in an initial email. A few sentences about what you are looking for are enough.

The current static website does not include advertising pixels or analytics code. A future hosting provider may still receive ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, and access logs as part of operating and securing the site. If the website later adds analytics, forms, chat, payments, or other data-collection tools, this notice should be updated.

Clinical Privacy

Website privacy and clinical-record privacy are not the same thing.

This Website & Practice Notice is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If you begin a clinical service, the privacy notice, informed-consent documents, record practices, and responsible clinical entity that apply to that service will be identified as part of the intake or consent process. Where HIPAA or another privacy law applies, those requirements govern the handling of protected clinical information.

Third-Party Services

Some doors on this site lead to services operated by other companies.

Online Discovery Consultations are scheduled through Google Calendar and may use Google Meet. Therapy inquiries may open Psychology Today. Email links open your own email provider, and this site currently loads web fonts from Google. When you use an external service, that service's own privacy practices, security practices, and terms may apply.

The Coping Collective does not control the privacy or security practices of third-party websites or services. You may choose to email first if you want to ask how a particular contact method will be used before sharing information.

In-Person Discovery Consultations

A comfortable setting may not be a confidential setting.

Some Discovery Consultations may be offered in community, cultural, coffee, walking, outdoor, library, or other non-clinical settings. These environments can feel more natural, but they cannot guarantee the same level of privacy as a private office or secure virtual meeting.

Public or semi-public consultations are intentionally limited to orientation, fit, timing, and next-step questions. You are not expected to disclose detailed clinical history or process trauma in a public setting. A more private setting can be used when the conversation calls for greater privacy.

Credentials, Licensure & Scope

A credential is part of Adrian’s background; the nature of the service determines the professional capacity.

Adrian L. Varnadore, M.Ed., LPC earned a Master of Education in Counseling and holds an Arkansas Licensed Professional Counselor license, P2403012. Arkansas regulates both protected counseling titles and the practice of counseling. Services that constitute counseling or psychotherapy are provided in a licensed capacity, within the applicable legal and Board-approved scope, and with the clinical terms required for that service.

Other work on this site may be educational, training-based, informational, or consultative. Those offerings can draw from Adrian’s education, professional knowledge, and clinical experience without automatically creating a therapist-client relationship. The name of a service alone does not determine its legal or professional classification; its actual purpose, content, methods, and relationship do.

Before a paid service or project begins, the applicable professional capacity and terms — including any consent, privacy, recordkeeping, payment, or other requirements — will be identified for that specific engagement.
